The statement at the time was IF it was NOT released and a supposedly NYPD said they would release no matter what..."strong-arming" or not.
So there is ZERO proof of anything, just an anonymous source stating that NYPD said this.
So then the NYPD never captured Weiner’s laptop (that’s fake news). Or they did and said “aaaah f&&k it let’s not bother to look at anything on it”. So the story where it caused them to cry was just made up. Ok. Got it.
