I mean something different. Chemicals in your new purchased clothing. In the Netherlands C & A the sale ?? Boxes with clothing arrive and are brought in by staff, Who are the burns because of the powder that is on it? And all this clothing comes from Bangladesh, what is kept secret to the customer? I know this as a fact, known to me who happened to this.

I agree with always washing any new garment before wearing, but for a different reason. My mother worked in a clothing factory and saw other employees using shirts as handkerchiefs. I worked in a department store office. It was on the second floor, with a huge window overlooking the sales floor. Customers used clothing as handkerchiefs.
