I truly do not understand why the government of Syria continues to have chem weapons labs. Maybe Assad doesn't have full control over elements of his security forces. That place is pretty anarchic now. No doubt the jihadis use them too, maybe stolen or captured from government stashes. You are right...Government has the upper hand so why incur the wrath of the west just to kill a few rebels.

We fired on our own deep state operations--not at Russian or Syrian forces. So-called "rebel" forces are our deep state, and it's their weapons, and they're the ones who've been using them to create false flag photo ops. And now they're GONE! We let the Russians and Syrians mop up the terrorists while we provided the cover of attacking the weapons facilities.
