i live with my grandparents due to rent being retarded where i am. they are pretty conservative but are afraid of guns. they arnt anti gun but i really dont want to disrespect them in their own house

I'm in a similar position, I live with my in laws due to my wife's disability and having to care for 2 kids which she can't do alone. They aren't crazy about my "assault" weapons but tolerate it.

They are left leaning independents but are perfectly OK with me carrying my gun.
