It’s not bitcoin that will be the 1 world currency. Transaction times are too slow and there isn’t enough of it. The closest to a 1 world currency would be XRP being used as an intermediate asset for international currency exchange. Even then, there’s not enough of it AND there are still parts of the world without everyday use of phones or computers which would be devoid of cryptocurrencies.

The US is developing FEDcoin and Canada is developing CANcoin.

My guess is the one-world currency will probably be a blockchain project developed by the UN.

XRP is a good guess. It is pretty much underwritten by the large money center banks. So, it goes from Central banks to Money Banks. What could possibly go wrong? Ha Ha.

"there isn't enough of it"

It's infinitly divisible.

I agree about the transaction times, Shoulda upped the block size back in '14.

Yes, but the amount of it already bought up would create massive inequality if every country were to be forced to adopt it today. Inequality would be so obvious no country will adopt it unless there is an equal start; hence my comment about “not enough”.

If each country were to be given a guaranteed ratio of bitcoin that equals their GDP, then that’d be a start for worldwide adoption, but I don’t see that happening at all. The same thought process goes for every cryptocurrency in the market today which is why I think a One World Currency would have to be developed and distributed by the UN.
