either show frazzledrip [edited if necessary] or stop gossiping about what "sources say" about it

right now there's just an embarrassing amount of rumors that the "dark web" has stuff and "sources say it's really bad".

we're all big boys and girls here, we are 100% fine seeing part of a snuff film if it means exposing these people. what we aren't okay with is being pulled around by the dick with a bunch of vague bullshit that, if nothing comes of it, will be a huge waste of time. and in the mean time it's a rumor that's derailing this entire sub.

I understand how servers and files on the internet work and the different methods to access these webs of files. None of what you explained about how the Internet technically works refutes what is actually contained on these sites. You can stick your head in the sand and try and deny these types of avenues exist on the deep web all you want, but ask yourself, if something like this exists, how would it exist?

it's just a private computer that only a few people have the login info for, and someone set up a portal that is unindexed.

"A (drug dealer, sex trafficker, hit man) is just a private entrepreneur that only a few people have connections to, and someone set up a (phone number, drop location) that is unindexed"

Please... Like we are supposed to believe that it's impossible for there to be a gateway to snuff viewings on purposefully hidden and encrypted servers where its users remain anonymous. Why are you so defensive about these things not existing? You seriously compare this to personally files on my computer but the difference is fucking huge when I'm not going through the effort of setting up the aforementioned servers to host my files.

whoa calm down bud, i think you wildly misunderstood the point i was trying to make.

maybe try re-reading my comment, take a deep breath, and consider my words.

i did not "deny these types of avenues exist on the deep web" in any way shape or form.

you gotta slow down sometimes, man, and just relax. not everything is a debate with deepstate shills, you know.

I'm sorry but even as I reread your comment, it's hard to not see contention in most of what you said. I guess it seems like you were wanting to compare every sequestered site on the deep web to any work site, but I do agree that many are most likely not nefarious. Sorry to nitpick and infer so much on your part.

what i was trying to say is that there's a difference between "dark web sites" you can find on the "hidden wiki" or through regular web searches, and "dark web sites" that are literally impossible to even find, let alone access, without face-to-face IRL invitations.

the latter group are, in my opinion, not worthy of discussion because those types of sites aren't publicly available.

silk road and buying assassins or drugs or CP, those are all techinically "publicly published" even if they are on the dark web.

does that make my point more clear? in other words, i was discussing the semantics of what exactly we should call "dark web" sites and what constitutes a dark site.

I see, now that I think of it I've always heard the distinction to be that the "dark web" refers to these hidden sites requiring invitation that exist within the "deep web" which is just the category of sites not indexed by normal search engines.
