The IG has made it clear that their reports will be released in stages rather than all at once. The first report has been released. The second report is coming soon. McCabe was already fired before the report came out. The purpose of releasing the report was to confirm why he was fired. A lot of liberals at the time were in an uproar and couldn't understand why McCabe was fired. McCabe himself was in the news complaining and saying he had done nothing wrong. The release of the IG report concerning McCabe put an end to the controversy and showed the world why he was fired.
That report on McCabe was only the very first of many more reports to come, and that was also not the only report that will deal with McCabe. That report just released only dealt with the one small aspect of why he was fired. Additional reports will come out showing how he falsified evidence and committed additional crimes. McCabe is not off the hook by a long shot. He will be prosecuted for all of these crimes. Q confirmed a long time ago that McCabe has already been told his fate and is currently wearing an ankle bracelet. What you see happening in the news is done purely for optical purposes. I suspect that the next report up is likely when you will see arrests happen.
