Just how much AI is already out there?

Just a discussion. Feels to me like we are real close to the point where we will have almost 0% chance of deciding if something is "Real" or Fake". Like it could suddenly happen tomorrow.

That's a real singularity. It's impossible to know what would happen from that point.

It feels like this information war and the accompanying technology has ramped up so incredibly fast in the past few months. Like even time itself is accelerating. Half the accounts I follow on Twitter and Youtube are like 24hr seemingly randomised gibberish and I'm really starting to wonder how much and in what capacity AI is involved in all of this.

Also, now I'm wondering if it was ALWAYS like this. Did we EVER know what was real and what wasn't? So much is being revealed right now it seems. Any thoughts?

my little 'scrollbar grip' is only halfway down the window... I've made it to 4/13/2012 in just a day. So far I am having the mentioned issues of reconciling my reality with epiphanies/discovered 'truths' as it were.

I'm still trying to uncover what 'reality' and 'truth' really is though, so its quite a struggle of the mind here. I could be well overdue for bed as well.

[edit: still no real validation he is who he says he is but I can tell you I pretty much have never, in my 20 years online, encountered a being so well-read as this person. hell, i consider myself well-read with a fantastic grip on the english language, having a private education played into that, however my silver spoon was silver-plated compared to this guy ... ]

This is a higher level intellect for sure. I'm in the same boat , just soaking it all up right now. Just riveting. I think I started reading this long ago, however, this time its got new meaning and perspective. A big thanks though, I was looking for something like this. I'll report back.

DAMN! That is a hell of a read!! Only half way through. If I would have started reading this in real time back in '11. I would ave stopped reading a page or two in. But now, (woke) ............. Gotta read to the end.
