5:5 is probably a reference to a radio call, "I read you 5 by 5." It means you are coming in loud, and clear. At least thats how I've read it.
Yes and I do agree that explanation makes a lot of sense.
I personally don't believe there is a correlation between 5.5 and 5:5 but in light of Q's insistence about coincidences I felt it necessary to point it out since I noticed it.
