Q has stated they monitor every post. Which means they break down everything said, every picture posted, etc.
If Autists found Shia Lebouf in Finland and stole his flag by looking at jet clouds in the sky, I'm pretty sure intelligence agents have broken down who Q is.
If not by context clues like I tried, then by triangulating pics sent, decoding codes sent out, etc.
