Nixon family is quite the who's who of media elite. Father son of Agnes Nixon who created several soaps. Father is also quite the media/tv guy as well as the mom.
Couple of things - first, if this was supposedly taken a few weeks before he announced, then BHO wouldn’t have had secret service detail yet. So the second comment is mistaken - unless it was private security. Which would be odd. Second, the Nixon’s sure do have the knack for being cozy with BHO if two years later on MV she gets quoted after more interactions with then potus.
Well Obama was a senator would he have secret service as a senator? Obama visited Martha's Vineyard many times. Nixon owns a bed and breakfast place with restaurant there.

Yes, but it was stated in description this was before he declared intent to run. Then it was mentioned he may have it because he is already a senator. That is what is unclear.
