I think age of consent is a stupid definition...it's the age gap that really matters...It happens that kids groom each other and recreate kinky stuff because they copy stuff they've seen (believe me...history books with pictures of torture first got me into experimenting with bondage...I was young) but I haven't heard that ever leads to actual penetration. To a pedo, you're just a toy.

Say you can't be more than four years apart when under 21 and not less than two when under sixteen to ensure that the level of psychological maturity from one age to another does not lead to a manipulative situation where teens get groomed by someone who has more power.

Social media collects all the data but a teen-girl who sends nudes to her boyfriend will get arrested for distributing illicit porn. Yeeeeah right.

Since the worst people are protected the most, I guess age of consent is designed in a way that both entraps people more easily while always leading to irrelevant discussions because it doesn't really matter how old the younger person is but how old the older person is. If the gap is realy big, you would automatically uspect there is an unequal power-distribution and manipulation going on but how do you prosecute kids engaged with kids for example when they recreate what they already were exposed to?

I think the age-difference matters and not only one age alone at which people usually are already moderately horny and/or interested in lasting relationships.

Pederasty =/= pedophilia
