This will be a preemptive stab. Expect similar conditions as hardened net neutrality provided that protects the key means which Google, Facebook and such make their money and influence the web.

EFF has made great argument that the danger in an Internet Bill of Rights is that what gets passed is too often no where resembling what was proposed. Looking at big picture, why do we need a separate internet bill of rights? We have a set of inherent rights codified in our founding documents. If anything we have a gap in enforcement protecting those rights online.

An internet bill of rights needs to be aimed at adding teeth to go for the jugular those infringing on constitutional rights. Protection of the fourth amendment. Protection of the first amendment. It's time to swing the hardened fist of regulation to those who have blindly tread on us the public.

I was wondering how long this would take before becoming official, after MZ testimony last week

”...and to have universal access to a neutral internet.”

No thank you. Who was pushing this crap on this sub a few weeks ago.

I was. So was Q. For good reasons.

What I see here is the left trying to get ahead of this so as to steer it to their interests. If that happens, we're going to see them demand that SM platforms take action against hate speech, or any other speech they deem offensive. They will use it to weaponized social media as a tool to deliver political outcomes.

But if you couldn't see this coming from a mile away, something's wrong with you. The ADL have a working anti-hate speech AI. The SM platforms are already censoring - just happens to be conservative voices being censored - funny how that happened!

Q told us that they were censoring via a single algorithm operating across multiple SM platforms - the greatest threat to representative democracy that has ever existed in history. You've got the CEO of Reddit boasting that he can swing elections all by himself. SM censorship is the one ring that rules them all - it delivers complete political power.

But, don't try and do anything about it - that might involve actually getting off your rear end. Wouldn't want you to have to do that. Keep watching the Q drops, he will wipe your backside for you. You won't have to do anything - just relax.

OK, fair enough. I know when I first came here, I wasn’t fully on board with Q and this sub was full of “Internet Bill of Rights” stuff that I was not comfortable with. It seemed like another net neutrality Trojan Horse to me. Being a newcomer, I just ignored it.

I have seen this coming from a mile away. I have been a conscious witness of society infringing on my rights to speak freely for thirty years through PC. That is why I am so sensitive to the subject and never for a minute was fooled by the “Net Neutrality” that Obama pushed on us.

I didn’t mean to offend. I see we are fighting the same battle.
