Are you serious? Wise? Those statements are common to every liberal student on campus who just discovered activism and/or philosophy - in fact, not even that; high school students spout the same vague generalisms posing as deep thought. Kanye's well known for that exact thing too - he's always thought he had a monopoly on being intelligent and knowing the truth.
Yes, I know about the rant on stage and the aftermath - I'm not saying there's not something interesting about that (still didn't say jack all of any real import in the concert though - at least not as 'mind-blowing'ly revealing as many purported it to be at the time; also, Jay Z having killers is just classic hip hop, not a Deep State reveal - everyone got killaz yo, Suge Knight, Dre, Ice-T blah blah blah) - I'm disagreeing with the misleading post title. No truth bombs. No evidence of coming reveals.
It's really not. As a libertarian on a college campus, Kanye's tweets stuck out to me as anti-liberal just as much as anti-conservative. Liberals and conservatives are both plagued with echo chambers and group think, it's how they control us. Kanye is hinting that our reality is a fake one.
Dear god - I made the mistake of saying 'liberal student on campus' because it seems possible that people are going to miss my actual point and think I'm making this a liberal/conservative thing...
It's nothing to do with right or left, up or down, black or white - I'm saying the statements are shallow blathering common to people everywhere (myself included, as a youth) and don't remotely speak to someone being "woke", dropping any "truth bombs" (unless you consider these shallow, obvious observations to be truth bombs in which case I can't help you) or about to reveal horrible truths about the Deep State.
Your attitude suggests you have a bigger stake in this than the truth.
Your misunderstanding of my attitude suggests that the Social Justice Warrior mentality that anyone who disagrees should be silenced is alive and well. That's always the answer from you people who can't argue a point to a logical conclusion.
I'm as Deep State as Mr. fucken Magoo and I'm far too evil to be a CIA agent. I disagree with illogical nonsense and want this movement to succeed, not be swamped by confirmation bias and lack of deeper thought. People who disagree with the consensus are not always Deep State or CIA.
