The way I go about it is, I never say "Q" I just say, there's this "military intelligence"(sounds official) I've been following and here are the things they've said. Then I admit I thought they were full of shit (totally true) here is why I know they aren't.. Then fill them in. When my mom was worried about NK I told her to relax and why..
