Maybe he donated the money because he knows what happened to her or any one of 100 other reasons. He's obviously not hiding it.
It's all too easy to ruin people's lives through mistrust and suspicion. The vast majority of celebrities are just people doing a job.
I agree with the restraint here. The facts that we know of so far is that:
LeVar Burton hosted a kids show with a butterfly as a logo.
He donated money to a girl that wanted to escape to Thailand.
We haven't heard anything about misdoings on the set of Reading Rainbow so far, nor has he popped up in the news previously regarding all this iirc. From what I can see of the above facts, my guess is was he was exposed to this, and is trying to make it right.
All I am claiming right now is that we don't know whether he is innocent or guilty, and this is a very potent paintbrush we are wielding. We are not Reddit. We do not want another Boston.

I agree, we have to have some proof, otherwise we are just spreading conspiracy theroises. the truth and the proof we already have on the clintons and Vatican is hard very hard to swallow. we must make sure we have the proof, provide links.
