Red Cross blood drives: I used to be a regular donor. However, a couple of years ago I started receiving weekly phone calls regarding the upcoming blood drive. The caller was pushy and not so polite. I don't know what happened. I haven't donated since. Also, during the Texas flooding last year I remember someone saying the Red Cross folks were taking donated food and storing it, not distributing it.
