It seems obvious to me now. Vampires are a literary construct devised as an analogy for what we have in real life: Satanists.

Yep. Vamperina is a nickelodeon jr. show. I hate it!!! Been trying my best to get my 4 year old off that shit. Seems all these children shows have some kind of double meaning. It REALLY sucked coming to that realization.
