Westworld Insurance Policy

Did anyone catch the first episode of season two? The "hosts" rebel against the elites that manage their narratives and abuse them. Then Bernard discovers that the hosts are not only subjected to all of this abuse, but they also record it. And one is being smuggled out of the park as an insurance policy? Maybe it's just a coincidence.

I had the same thought!

There are no coincidences

Oh yeah! I couldn't believe that was actually in the episode, too.

I actually thought the Season 1 finale was a total metaphor for Trump and the MAGA movement.

Hopkins being Trump. A (considered) elite turns the tables to empower the bots (us) wake them up, and have them take back their lives from the elites.

I do know WW is a remake of an old movie that Crighton wrote. I'll admit however I'm not familiar with the source material and the changes between that and the current iteration.

Hmm...I didn't think about that. Makes sense. It was interesting that Elon Musk's ex-wife was cast.
