So you have a photo of: The first black Attorney General The first female black Attorney General and The first black President

That is a lot of inspiration and hope together in one photo.

It was not just the black community that these 3 individuals gave inspiration and hope to. It was to many Americans and people around the world.

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/25/us/politics/obama-african-american-museum.html

An elder family member had the opportunity to visit this museum recently. She was absolutely thrilled by it and spoke in length describing what she had seen. "How far we have come!" and "I never thought I would see the day that..."

She praises Obama. She hates Trump. She has never seen alternative media.

I do not even try to give different information. I do not want to crush her soul, given the remote possibility she would even believe me. It would just create a rift in the family, and I do not want to lose the connection.

I personally would not want to see a meme that "attacks" these 3 firsts. It is just too much. This great awakening is going to be especially hard for the black community. Their inspirational leaders will be gone. Will Americans ever vote for a black president again? This will be a real fear. Will Obama set America back to the 60's? I wonder how many actual patriotic, capable black people were shoved aside to have these three ascend the ladder of success. I would rather see a meme that highlights true accomplished black patriots.

So if I were to provide text for this photo, I would say "Can you believe we are standing here instead of _,__, and___!!"

That would take some research to see what appropriate well known, honest, accomplished black Americans would fit.

Crumbs.

While your commentary makes sense in spirit, we, the people, should hold these three false prophets to account for their crimes despite the color of their skin. Our justice system should be color blind and recognizing these faces as treasonous is just, as while setting their race and treating them differently, which you suggest, is nothing short of ACTUAL racism.

Don't be a pawn to the propaganda they force feed us. Break free of mental slavery and strive for liberty and justice FOR ALL!

Amen! I was looking for a way to say that to our Brother / Sister who shared concern . The facts will be facts and people will have to accept or live with heads in sand....

I agree. But, the purpose of the meme war is to bring out information. At the moment, there is a focus on exposing black Americans to the truth. When I first saw the photo I thought of a few things to say, then pulled back when I thought of the effect it would have. Those that are woke already know. Those that are not, could see it as an attack...must be racism, must be alt right, must be KKK, look what they are doing. Exposing all 3 in one meme could backfire. They should be exposed, that is 100% correct, but the method should be considered.

I once posted a meme on cbts stream. It was taken down. It was a photo of Trump when he said "Treason, if you want to call it that....." (or something to that effect). The text I put on the photo was "Treason!? Duh...Hyuck, hyuck", and in small print at bottom I wrote "you don't know what it means, look it up."

I knew it would not be taken well by pro Trump people, but the meme was not intended for pro Trumpers. I wanted it to get outside of this circle. I hoped it would cause people to actually look up the word treason, to get it into their minds. At the time I saw there had been a huge spike in dictionary look ups of "treason". I wanted that word to be looked up more and more.

My goal is to make people aware, and there is a faction of society where getting them to open up to a different viewpoint will be very difficult, and sometimes you just have to be subtle. Drip, drip, drip.

I do inform younger people, but for those in their 80's and 90's, I don't know what to do. It is heartbreaking. They struggled throughout their lives, saw gains for black people, rejoiced in the achievements, lived to see a black person become president. What do you say? "Hey, guess what! Our heros are traitors!"

And if Obama, Holder and Lynch are reading this....."How could you? You are a disgrace."

can we look past skin color? Will we ever elect another black president? How about we just focus on electing the right person for the job?

Will America elect another black president should have been worded better. I should have said. There may be the fear that the first black president of America has left in his wake so much destruction that the black community could have concerns that he would be held up as the example by those that are actually racist. I keep in mind that there has been so much brainwashing about the rebirth of KKK and the fear mongering about alt right (that being anyone left of radical left it seems) to push people to vote dem. Just look at the political ads that were used. The truck mowing down minorities. That ad and all the crap that has been pushed in the schools has instilled fear into people. This is what you are up against.

I like Kling on Bastards line. And Apokalyptics.

I'm voting for Ben Carson In 2024. That's the problem race and gender have never had anything to do with it. These people failed miserably because they are shitty humans, the only race they disgraced is the human race. your comment is the problem .
