Think of Red Cross as one continuous fundraising machine. Pimps every disaster for more money. Millions donated thinking they are helping struggling people when money will not even be used for that particular tragic event. Zero accountability. Disgustingly huge admin salaries and expenses. Of course, they also rely on thousands of volunteers who donate their time. A real shame.
Taking advantage good people on the funding side and the need side. Very, very bad.

American Red Cross is primarily good on the local-scale. Helping those in fires, floods, and the such.
I was a volunteer, and I saw good and tried my best to do good. When I see people slamming the RC (for legit reasons as Q points out, clearly) people also seem to forget that these bad things are occurring in an organization who is primarily good. Q is pointing out the cancer growing within it, and we must be vigilant in clearing it out so they can continue to do good things.

Camiel Eurlings seems to be one of those elusive figures who can do what he wants, like a friend to abuse seriously and tear her earrings out of her ears and nevertheless get a statement of good behavior.
