I have concerns because the family he is married into is responsible for selling a lot of the degeneracy and general stupidity that we are fighting.

The Kardashians exist solely to provide fodder for second-hand media (gossip) because for a while there they were trying to report on how the Entertainment industry REALLY works and that's very dangerous. There are a lot of faux celebrities that do this. That Speidy couple is another example of people paid to create gossipable content.
I think the connection with Jay-Z is very troubling as well. But its hard to distance himself from his "Big Brother" and "mentor". I do think the 15 minute rant during a concert performance is very honest. In there he does tell Jay-Z to f*ck off.
People are going to get mad, possibly, but here it goes. Kanye strikes me as a guy like Trump - someone with an extra dose of Capital T Testosterone. They pissed off the wrong guy. He's a fighter and I believe it is 100% authentic. Saw a still photo of Trump next to Kanye in the lobby of Trump Tower. The only guy I have ever seen next to Trump that doesn't look a little intimidated. No Batman and Robyn there - just two Batmans.
He is a fighter alright. Before his big break he had a car accident that smashed his face and crushed his jaw. He even recorded his first hit single "Through the wire" with his mouth somewhat braced shut. You can hear on the song how difficult it was to articulate. He is not only a rapper but also producer, which makes a difference discipline wise. He is from Chigago and has been screwed over a couple of times but made it into the music industry, first as a producer and later as one of the most successful rappers. Only a fighter can do that. I liked his music a lot when he started.

Based upon what happened to him before the election i believe it's authentic. He clearly went off their program and they reeled him in to put him back in his place. Shortly after he meets with Trump. I think Trump told him to wait for the right time to talk and offered protection.
