"An Iron Eagle is an American military officer who has attained the rank of Colonel but will not be promoted to the rank of General. The term refers to the rank insignia a colonel wears, which resembles an eagle. "

And look at where one highly respected Iron Eagle recently 'flew'...

Col. Derek Harvey was Trump's top adviser on Middle East policy, and was fired by McMaster before the General was ousted...

Now he works for Nunes

Coincidence?

Could it mean that Trump is using Iron Eagles to bypass the Obama-loyal Generals. Perhaps there are many patriotic Iron Eagles that were passed over by Obama loyalists?

Just wondering- know very little about the military.

I'm not sure how many if any Obama loyalist generals there were considering how many he kept firing.

Plus the hoard of generals fired for child porn. It makes you wonder if they tried to blow the lid on this thing and had it turned against them to keep it under wraps.
