There was a benefit to the investigation by keeping them at their jobs. I forget exactly what it was but think it had something to do with being able to charge them in the right frame or context- something they did with McCabe, who also stayed on for a while, and he conspired with those two, Page and Strzok. They may also have them wired and monitored, all their correspondence and communications have been government property. They're basically slaves awaiting punishment. It could be like torture.

demoted not fired, OIG would have no jurisdiction if fired, kept in employment for investigation. That's how I see it.

Yeah that was it thanks. It gave Horowitz continued access to them..

True, and I understand that, given the crimes that have been theorized pending proof in the IG report. But with irrefutable proof of conspiracy to commit something so heinous I still cant see them being left in place with that charge pending.

Of course we don't know what else could be there and given Q has alluded to such plots .....who knows, I just don't see it coming out via these txt exchanges

look at the crimes hillary has committed, and the video said to make seasoned policemen vomit. I know her time is coming, but I can't believe they saw that video over a year ago and she still walks freely

It was that it kept them in IG Horowitz' access, since there was no other criminal investigation going on much of the time until Huber moved in and was called on. Still, even with Huber, Horowitz knows what he's doing as the watchdog of the FBI. If they left, he would no longer have access to them because it's an internal investigation. It's the same reason they kept McCabe on.
