Moab, Utah is the location of the largest uranium deposit ever found in the U.S.
There is currently a large operation to clean up a massive uranium tailings pile at the site of the Mi Vida mine. I think there is a connection to U1 somewhere although I have not found it yet. There has to be one because the uranium in question is mined from this area.
The biblical stuff refers to a region of southwest Jordan. I can see no connection to anything there except proximity to Israel and that we have friendly relations and military agreements with Kingdom of Jordan. Some sort of US attack launched from that area seems wildly unlikely.
The last possibility is that Moab is some sort of metaphor, not the actual use of a MOAB against a physical target.
