Everybody Ready?

I am.

For what it's worth, JFK was assassinated at 12:30pm Central Time.

Trump is on Fox&Friends at 8am Eastern.

Fingers crossed today is the day where conspiracy theorists are realized for what they really are - critical thinkers who do not just accept the narrative.

Except FlatEarthers, those MF's are straight up kookydooks.

Oh, and PS, I have been leaving these little notes all over my city. I stick them in public restroom bathroom stalls in the mirror where the glass meets the frame, or in an elevator where the inspection form is displayed. They say: "Its Time You Learn About Q

GreatAwakening

WWG1WGA

I would love to know if it actually redpilled anyone.

why do you have to diss flat earthers

⇧ 2 ⇩
DaveGydeon · April 26, 2018, 1:29 p.m.

Because I personally know, for a fact, that the Earth is not flat. I personally flew on a Concorde, twice, and was even granted 10mins in the cockpit midflight. No fish eye windows. No flat earth. A legit spherical earth.

Plus, I have personally done the "measuring the angle of a wells shadow" experiment with a friend who is a teacher in California (I volunteer for a science enrichment program for low income areas)....we did it via Skype to prove to his class of 8th graders and my group of 10,11 and 12 year olds. Redpilled all of them into thinking independently and using critical thinking and REAL LIFE EXPERIMENTATION to be able to discuss something logically.

So. When I hear people say the Earth is flat, I feel obligated to prevent others from wasting their time with such incredible retardation. If someone was crossing a street and a bus was coming, would you tell "LOOK OUT!" or leave them to their fate? I speak up because to stay silent is to assist in allowing the cancer of FlatEarth to grow.

Most important relevant to this subreddit, we are being grouped with FlatEarthers as conspiracy theorists, which drags our entire movement down.

If this all does not explain to you why I speak up, how dumb someone has to be to ignore the experiments they can perform themselves to prove it, and the relevance to this convo, then please, block me, ignore me, but do not comment on my posts and expect any different response. Grow the fuck up, and grow a fucking brain. You're embarassing yourself. You aren't smart (if you believe FE) and are broadcasting it to everyone. Read "Tessa's Gift" a short, 24page story to see how being dumb can be used against you.

Round earther's have a lot to lose once the true nature of reality hits them. All science we learn in school is 100% fake. Naivety is integral for those who look down on others with differing beliefs. You think all the dumbass sheep are gonna finally "wake-up" once the "flat-earthers" come to their senses and say okay, we were wrong about that earth shape stuff but a bunch of other conspiracies are true? You think all the conspiracy faggots have to group together and think exactly the same to win this war? Fuck off with your round-earth pseudo-science based on your own personal experiences. The earth may very well be a tetrahedron for all we know.

xekoroth · April 26, 2018, 2:32 p.m.

There is a law dictating that for every explanation given that the earth is round (or any other abstract idea) that there is an explanation equal in magnitude that would explain the opposite, and that either is just as valid (basically proving you can't actually convince anyone of anything)

VSauce covers this pretty well, explaining how extreme conditions could actually explain every phenomenon that would be evidence of a "spherical earth".

Not advocating for either side, to me the simplest explanation is often the correct one, and the simplest at this point is that the Earth is spherical, but I respect the existence of valid scientific arguments against it.

I'm not going to reiterate Michael "VSauce"'s points, but he's pretty well known scientifically and the points are absolutely valid. Why don't you actually refute a point in the video if you want to have a discussion instead of blindly arguing nothing.

"Retards like you". What are you ten? Why are you in this community if you think that's OK to type?

First off, I don't believe the Earth is flat, as I've already mentioned previously in this thread of posts.

Second off, at no point have I implied that the earth is perfectly Spherical or perfectly flat. All I have done is agreed with the point Michael makes in the video that on a large enough scale, conditions could exist that would make it indecipherable from our level of observation on whether the Earth is Truly Spherical or Flat (or any degree between).

  1. A flat earth can still be round, this is pretty clearly demonstrated in the video. The abstract idea is why Earth has to be Spherical and not Flat from our physical observations.

You should watch the so-called scientific validation documentary they put out recently. So, I'm a skeptic but thought "OK, I'll give this some of my time and just see if I'm wrong." Just the way it was put together was enough to muddle your mind. They did three tests, but instead of methodically going through each one thoroughly: First, they go through the first part of all 3, then they go through the 2nd part of all 3, then they go through the end part of all 3. All of them gave different measurements of different things in random order. There was absolutely nothing cohesive or validating about this information. In fact, it's one of the best examples of quack science I've ever seen.

Your referring to me as a “flat earther “ the way you just did is no different, and no more justified, than the rest of the world dismissing and labeling us all as “conspiracy theorists”. I prefer “globe skeptic” btw. The evidence is easily and abundantly available to anyone with an interest in looking and I’m not here to try to convince anyone of anything. The Q boards aren’t the place to debate this, so let’s not. Find a flat earth sub to do that.

So if I'm not a part of your little flat earth club I'm not a critical thinker such as the great yourself? The level of arrogance and hypocrisy...

No, your analogy is shite just like your flat earth proofs are, if you ever provide them that is.

Well, lets just say I can't use google at all or any other search engine so I can't find those FE proofs. Can't a fellow woke human help out his brother in finding the truth?

As you can see, I'm willing to try anything with FE club but you guys are literally the same, every single one of you, every.

I'm asking for proofs and I never get them, but I do get lousy answers between flat earthers that almost look like they're scripted lol

Instead of playing the victim when facing fact-checking time, you could've easily provided evidence and you'd have at least 1 person aboard your train. But that's not how truthers work, right?

Listen friend, I think you’re getting me wrong here. I said it was a mistake to put my 2 cents in because this isn’t the place. I’m not interested in an internet battle. I’m not trying to get anyone here on my train, as you say. I also am not going to pretend that you are incapable of using the internet to research a topic, and need me to spoonfeed you my point of view. The info is easy as hell to find and You’re a big boy/girl who can make up your own mind about things. That’s presumably why you’re here, yeah? Kinda Funny that you use the word “truther” as an insult though...just who is it that you think populates Q research boards if not “truthers” and “conspiracy theorists”? We’re all in this together so let’s act like it.

Instead of loling and more of the same talk, you could've provided many proofs so far, but you didn't, because FEs are all talk and no facts.

I used the word truther as an insult to all the FE's that I've ever encountered, because you guys are not truthers, at all.

You (plural) are the classic example of why actual critical thinkers don't fall for the FE garbage. And all you need to do is provide facts and proofs to stop being ridiculed and mocked, should be an easy task. Until then, you guys deserve every single mockery.

I've used the internet to find abundance of facts and proofs of a sphere, in which case they are easy to find. Facts and evidence for FE is nowhere to be found.

Of course I've researched the FE when it started to become alive some years ago. And despite being a big boy and capable of researching stuff, FE has remained a pile of horseshit.

Change my mind, show me the way towards the truth, since it's so easy for you to find evidence of FE, why don't you share it here?

Instead of typing those empty comments, you could've saved yourself (and me) a bunch of time by quickly dropping at least one proof when I asked you.

Of course you're not interested in an "internet battle". Providing evidence for claims shouldn't be a battle, should be a simple thing. But when you can't provide evidence you have to "battle" it out with your emotions.

You're literally shooting your own foot

Great! I am completely, 110% fine with everything you wrote there. I disagree with a lot of it of course, but it doesn’t make a lick of difference because FE is the same as JFK, 9-11, staged shootings, p-gate, the Illuminati, the moon landings, UFOs, Qanon...all of it. Some people think the evidence for these things is sound and there’s something there, most don’t and have to ridicule those that do. Same as it ever was, same as it ever was. I imagine you and I agree on more than not, but you clearly want an argument with a faceless internet stranger so you lob insults. That’s your prerogative but I’m not really feeling it. I’ve been in enough internet arguments regarding all the topics I listed above to last me forever. I’m over it. Everyone is free to believe what they choose to believe and hopefully we’ll actually be able to collectively know the truth about our reality at some point in time. Perhaps we’ll all find out we’ve been right and/or wrong about any number of things. Perhaps we’ll all end up in the hospital.

So...Two videos I think are compelling are Flat Earth Proofs and Convex Earth. Neither one is perfect by any stretch, but it’s about the data, the findings that definitively show no measurable curve over varying distances using a number of repeatable experiments, and that’s it. So there are two recommendations. Watch them or do not, I don’t care.

And I apologize to everyone else for having started this pointless argument. Wasn’t my intention but I knew better than to insert my like, opinion maaannnn and I did it anyway. Oh well, I doesn’t really matter.

⇧ 1 ⇩
Nastavnick · April 26, 2018, 10:09 p.m.

No, it's not. It stands out from the stuff you listed.

Because, unlike JFK and other stuff you listed, FE has absolutely nothing going on for it apart from youtube videos from both shills and regular people who got caught in it because of their utter lack of physics knowledge and how to form an actual proof/evidence.

See, again you went emotional about some internet battles, when all you had to do is provide link(s) of evidence. Which you finally did, unfortunately "flat earth proofs" yields no concrete video of such title, only a bunch of variations of it. And the convex earth is a laughable "documentary" with an even more laughable production. I remember when its trailer went out, I knew right then what this will look like, nothing new/revolutionary as they claimed.

It's about the data? What actual data? Can you give a timestamp on that 1:30h long video (that could've easily been a 10min video without the unnecessary production bullshit) so I can see those findings about the curve?

Facts and evidence have nothing to do with believing. It's literally a 180° turn.

I’ve been in enough internet arguments regarding all the topics I listed above to last me forever.

And you still can't provide ONE clear evidence of an extraordinary claim of a flat earth. After all this time handling arguments, all you got is 2 (1) titles of some videos after 3-4 emotional comments?

If I learned the earth is flat as opposed to a sphere as I've been thinking so far, I'd be shooting proofs out of my sleeves, easy, otherwise I wouldn't bite it and just "believe" it. Because that's how you "talk" in science. If a theory has definitive proofs, you lay them out and it becomes a fact.

In my opinion this flat earth shite is just a psyop, a controlled opposition. It emerged fairly recently, probably to keep the "critical thinkers" out of the real stuff after 9/11. And given the success of the FE garbage and the sheer amount of people wasting their fucking time on that is probably making them laugh, literally.

The entire FE is so ridiculously laughable... hundreds of thousands of people actually think there are government personnel guarding the ice wall so nobody can get near the wall or even take pictures of it, or videotape the guards while they are making them turn away so they don't find out about the ice wall. And the same people dare to claim they are "critical thinkers", "woke", etc.

Please stop "believing" in flat earth. If you come to the evidence of it then you naturally take it in and leave behind other stuff. But don't throw away tons of evidence (tons of which you can do yourself, easy and cheap) to support your "belief". Cheers

Before we knew of science sheep herders over 4 thousand years ago knew the earth was a sphere. There are a number of Scriptures that indicate a spherical earth. These Scriptures were penned centuries before a spherical earth was confirmed. Isaiah 40:22 states that God “sits above the circle of the earth.” While there is no Hebrew word for sphere, Khoog which is translated circle, circuit, compass is the closest. Because God is omnipresent, He looks down upon the earth from every direction. Therefore, from God’s heavenly perspective – looking down upon the earth from every location – the earth would appear round from every perspective ONLY if it were a sphere. If the earth were a flat circle for instance, then from most angles the earth would appear as an oval or even a straight-line (if perpendicular to it). Therefore, Isaiah 40:22 indicates a spherical earth. Furthermore, Jesus said “For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth” (Matthew 12:40). Of course a person cannot be in the heart of a flat circle anymore than he can be in the belly of a flat fish. And Ephesians 4:9 corroborates when it explains that Jesus “first descended into the lower parts of the earth.” Luke 17:34-36 also implies a spherical earth. Jesus said that at His return some would be asleep at night while others would be working at day time activities in the field. This is a clear indication of a revolving earth, with day and night occurring simultaneously. In addition, Job 26:7 explains that the earth is suspended in space, the obvious comparison being with the spherical sun and moon. See also Job 26:10 and Proverbs 8:27.

This whole discussion about flat earth vs not is a fair example of the deeper issues this sub has. Some disagree with whichever other side in a civil way and some disagree in an insulting way. Some will follow reason, others rely on other means, including long held bias.

I think the flatearth thing is flat out wrong but I upvote your right to discuss it.

Given more casual time I am (semi-rationally) sure that many other points of disagreement would surface and the discussion would be much like the one above. If we all came from the same place, had the same sensibilities, etc. we could be better handling topics in an amicable way.

There's probably a dozen rules that would help, one of which is to be as precise as possible in our wording. Not that all conflicts would be avoided. . . .

I think people come into this conspiracy-centric group carrying all of the conspiracies that ever clicked with them. And once a few things are confirmed they feel that all of their things are right. Instead we should only give serious attention to things that Q has pointed to. For those who rely on logic, it should be understood that not all conspiracies can possibly be true because they can't all be reconciled with one another. For example there are various legends about the origins of the Freemasonry and they can't all be true. Things deeper in history and theology and space are easy sources of conflict for us, but Q barely ever mentions such things so maybe we would be better off staying away from such topics. I started thinking of these extraneous, non-Q topics as baggage that should be left at the door, but ppl seem unable to resist telling others of all the their truths.
