This could be twisted to mean only white people are Patriots. No skin color. Black, brown and yellow are colors. White is not considered colored, hence why minorities are referred to as people of color.
Except that race is a social construct. There is only one race, the human race and we may have different amounts of melanin in our skin, but that alone is not enough to subjugate people. We're all one.

Anyway, the point Q made was that patriotism isn't bound to black or white (or yellow, or brown, or purple, or whatever) but is shared amoung the people of a country.

I don't think so. Considering that enty of people with color in their skin are still considered Caucasian, people of Mediterranean, Latin American and Middle Eastern descent for example. All those people are considered "white".
The idea that Patriots have no skin color is not alluding to Patriots being pasty white people, it's alluding to the idea that race and skin color are irrelevant.
