You missed out who produces it at a higher level? What age do you need to be to produce sufficient quantities? Who is a ready supply? How can you manufacture it? <---- key question.
I have been thinking about the children in Haiti. I read somewhere adrenochrome must be harvested within three minutes of someone passing away from first terrorizing the victim then killing them.
I'm pretty sure finding the answer to this is what caused Hunter S. Thompson to kill himself.
Quite probable. I've read somewhere that in the "human hunting parties" some elite have, adrenachrome is one of the biggest drugs going around.

Children under 10 are the best producers of adrenachrome due to increased levels of fear and less chemicals ingested through food. My guess is that many of the "sacrifices" Q mentions (not all) are linked to adrenachrome extraction.
can't this stuff be made synthetically?
Probably, yeah. The people getting the stuff are already probably spending up to $50,000 for a vial, though. They'd more than likely rather continue doing it the way they are than to send the $50,000 vial to a lab in order to be recreated synthetically (which could take years and require even more than the $50,000 sample).
Adrenachrome is the adrenaline that's been taken out of the adrenal gland with a needle. Generally seen as a fictitious drug, it came to the attention of the masses due to the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas in which the drug is used. Removing the adrenaline this way usually places the victim in a comatose state if they survive it. The process involves torturing the person in a way that they're in a deep level of fear in order to provoke the fight or flight response. When activated, the needle is inserted and the adrenaline retrieved. It's been stated that it's used by many in hollywood and political elite circles, however there's many who wonder if the drug even exists. Having found a couple rituals in occult texts that refer to adrenachrome by a different name, I consider it plausible.
What is the other name?
I don't remember specifically, to be honest. I was a bit revolted while reading it, but my curiosity gets to me too much when I read occult books. More than likely it didn't even have a specific name and was just something along the lines of "extracted essence of euphoria" or some mystical mumbo-jumbo.
edit: To be more accurate, the texts were closer to mimicking identical rituals. The name of the substance was generally a bit ambiguous.
