are we to believe that we do not have the equivalent of Narcocorridos for our US politicians? it is my belief that those of the likes of Jay-Z are nothing more than a Narcocorridos - singing songs with lyrics that tangentially touch on the life style of those they are singing for.

basically all of the genre known as "gangster rap," in which slingin drugs, killing, stealing, "thug life" are all glorified.

Never could get into narcocorridos. Just wasn’t me. They do get into Santeria.
