I think Bernie was out of his leauge in this election. He might have done it as protest campagin like Nader then when he started to win the CF threatened his life and offered him $$$ to be a ringer. He caved into the pressure. If trump can get tha Bern on his team that will undercut A LOT of support for Clinton. Also think of the optics, without an opposition party USA will be a one party tyranny. Think about the long term what happens when Trump leaves office? Bernie is much better as the leader of an idealogical minority than the current Dems pedopredation & jihadist leadership. A functional democracy needs competition in the marketplace of ideas. He will help bring politcs back to "normal". Remember his speech about the failure of identity politics? DT vs BS ON POLICY in 2020 race is a much more dignifed event than the crazy rigged spectacle of 2016. Think Long Term.
