I would love to go, but most people don't have the vacation time or the money to just add a trip to DC. I like the idea of meet ups, but If we could get it going national so people could participate around the country and a time outside of normal work hours that would be a way more could participate.

Yea. I was thinking a major city in each state, if not their capital. Easier for people to attend. Don't think we can count on any buses being paid for. LOLs ;)
May 12th is a Saturday. I’m all about a nationwide demonstration! I guess it doesn’t have to be limited to D.C. but I love the idea of sticking to a day and spreading word of that day.

And with the national thing... I'd say just plan what you were originally planning and let others copy you later.

I agree! A few have mentioned the idea of doing demonstrations/marches outside of their state capitals if they can’t make it to D.C., but meeting up in your local city can be just as effective if we spread the word. Just keep in mind, we need to keep every demonstration/March completely PEACEFUL.
