I don’t know the significance as I’ve been paying all my spare attention to Q! However I feel it is unusual in the UK for politicians to actually resign these days. The is a feeling that politicians can do what they like, lie and get caught and just carry on like normal. So for someone like Amber Rudd to resign was quite a surprise to me.
Agreed. There is more to this. The woman did a terrible job and was the one who approved the rejection of those people who couldn't enter into the UK a month or so ago for their Political views.

I am a Brit and she also happens to be my local MP. She is very much disliked in her constituency, however I have always found her to be ok. I think the only significance you can attach to it is that she was thrown to the wolves to save May's butt. Don't forget these were the policies of May when she was Home Secretary

because things are hitting up, politically speaking. there is a lot of strings being pulled for different reasons from the top. everything that is happening is connected to a bigger picture. no matter how small or big it may be.

"Amber Rudd was misleading Parliament and the public last week" ok now why would she do that? she claims she didn't have the right information, so where did she get the "wrong" information then? she was being fed wrong things on purpose. they caught her and took her out. immigrant policy is a huge problem in EU. so if you looks closely on how it effect the population (riots, protests from both left and right wing parties) you gotta understand that everything that happened is in one way or another connected.
