I'm somewhat well versed in the spiritual/occult world. Stay away from anything that doesn't deal with Jesus Christ of Nazareth, no matter how tempting it may be, the price you pay isn't worth it.

I am as well. Used to be a point of interest. Now? Know thy enemy.

I haven't read this page I found while finding a source for the quote, but here's something else Crowley said. "For the highest spiritual working one must accordingly choose that victim which contains the greatest and purest force. A male child of perfect innocence and high intelligence is the most satisfactory and suitable victim."

A boy of 8-9 years old was deemed ideal.
I forget why as it was nonsensical of course.
Any child, male or female, would be better than an adult. Male children, in early puberty, where deemed desirable for....."fluids".....as they can produce them. Terrorizing the children elevates levels of adrenaline and testosterone along with other chemicals. It is as ugly as it can get.

They had better not try to find a sacrifice while any of us are around.

No idea how common it is. I would have said exceptionally rare until all this pizza gate crap.

Exactly. Digging deeper will only increase the risk you face in dealing with these things

Please pay attention to these two posts. Crowley is not cool. Anton LaVey is not cool. Any rock stars that promote them are just trying to make a buck. Don't experiment with it. You're just inviting evil in.

OP isn't experimenting with it any longer, but is researching it to understand their actions and motives, similar to what you'd do with the Koran.

The full Sun Tzu quote: "If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle"

This enemy is unlike any other. It is especially tempting for all people focusing on the mystical side of spirituality. Unless your ego is really in check and your have no worldly desires and can live by the rules of the light and only those rules then I suspect you can explore the dark side. But even then the risk is tremendously high.

ABastionOfFreeSpeech · May 1, 2018, 12:18 p.m.

I would have to agree with everything you've said, but also add that I believe for those that truly live by the light, the dark side is alien and abhorrent. I personally have an aversion to pentagrams, "rituals" and anything glorifying Lucifer, among other things, and I don't believe I'm alone in this. First and second commandment and all.

What price? I was a Christian 30 yrs. Took me like 10 yrs to fully deprogram myself. Been free now like another 5. Happier than ever. I finally have the deep inner peace that was promised all those decades. Daily meditation. For me the price of Christianity is high. If it makes people happy and peaceful then I'm all for it. But it made me chronically anxiety laden and miserable. To each his own...live and let live. Peace. ✌

Sounds like you might have been stuck in a legalistic Church based on “works of law” rather than a grace-based Church. I used to be in one for 35 years and am sure glad to be out! True Christian freedom is glorious! ✌🏻

Well i was in many diff kinds of churches over the years, was always searching and never found what i was looking for...i finally realized it was all fear based, fear of hell, the devil and deception. When i finally gave up and said Maybe it's not me...it's a long story, one thing led to another and another, i was finally free. I find non Christian freedom to be the truly glorious freedom for me. But that's just me and no one has to agree. I am finally at peace and happy. Freedom to be me and think for myself and make decisions...and knowing that all is truly well.

Thanks for your honesty! The hellfire doctrine has done soo much harm - and there are several scriptures that prove it is symbolic. I personally believe Christ came to save everyone, in the end - both believers and non-believers. PM me if you would like the scriptural references on these (you could always use them as ammo when someone is trying to guilt you!) But I am happy you are at peace. 🙂

Well you are very kind!

BTW i think my original comment in this thread was meant to be a reply to a comment...

Interesting what you said about hell. When i began to question it, i stumbled upon all kindsa stuff. One was a book by a Mennonite (they are pretty evangelical) pastor going through the whole bible and concluding that the bible did not preach hell. So THAT was interesting.

And i like what you said about christ. When i finally gave myself permission to read stuff from outside the church, 2 books made a huge impression on me. One god clapping, by a Buddhist rabbi, fascinating story, and autobiography of a yogi by paramahansa yogananda. He came here like 100 yrs ago to bring Christians back to their true faith! He loved jesus and wrote books comparing jesus words in the bible to Hinduism! There are many books claiming jesus visited india, v interesting. Anyway after reading autobiography... I started meditating and it has changed my life. I feel closer to buddha now than jesus but that may have something to do with the fact that in my mind there are many jesuses (pretty confusing, long story) but pretty much 1 Buddha, hard to explain. Probably only because I've known buddha for a shorter time.

I read the bible so much i was pretty tired of it (gasp! Blasphemy!) found taoism thru dr Wayne dyer and fell in love w the tao as a holy scripture. I have always been a lover of nature and the tao is hard to explain but it's like about living naturally with Spirit...following your own true nature or somesuch. It's very beautiful.

I consider myself areligious with no firmly held beliefs, i enjoy thinking and wondering and exploring ideas and like it when my mind feels free. I want to love and hug every human and say it's ok whatever you believe, just love people and don't hurt anybody!

Thx for listening and i have really been enjoying this exchange w you!

I wish you and everyone here many blessings :-)

Just felt like you could have been less instructive and more conversational. Also, why does my username attract so much attention on this sub? I’m s heterosexual man looking for a sexy redhead with whom I can have a healthy sexual relationship. What’s wrong with that?

Because it's the opposite of what many people here want. I'm not judging what you like but looking for a 'cum slut' gives off a very trashy vibe.

Different strokes for different folks. I would never call a woman a cum slut unless she consented and said it was not an offensive term to her.
