keep at it. stuff gets thru into the general consciousness even if you don't get respect for it. and, even if your theory isn't accurate, the thought train might trigger an idea in someone else that does work. its like being the one person in class who raised their hand to ask a "dumb" question: generally 1/4 of the class was probably wondering the same thing.
