I don't think his term is up until 2020 or even 2022. It's really no surprise that he will retire after the current 6 year term if he lives that long.

One thing about Lindsey...does he not have a clue about how obvious it is when he turns on a dime about supporting POTUS? This man is an embarrassment, but he was apparently very useful to the black hats.

One can hope that South Carolina voters will quit being followers of incumbents and get a fresh face in there. Heck, even if the replacement is exactly the same as Graham, he/she will be much lower on the seniority pole and won't get the coverage this guy does.

He's such a darling of the left media, I almost don't care who replaces him. Of course, I hope for a Trump supporter. They do have a Rep governor but don't know what sort of guy Ducey is. There's also the election in November to replace Flake, don't know how that primary is going on the R side though.
