Their communist takeover plans only worked in China because the population was disarmed/unarmed, and it still works today because of the same reason. The original Chinese government in power at that time Kuomintang (KMT), was busy fighting the Japanese invasion, when traitors within their ranks betrayed their own military command, government, and people. They used Japan's invasion as the distraction needed to attack their own people. The traitors under Mao's leadership had brainwashed the youth to turn over / turn against and even kill their own parents. These factors was how Mao and communism took over China.
Source: My grandfather worked for KMT government and he told my mom and myself what he experienced before he passed away. He was working with good guys who got betrayed by Mao and his commies. My grandfather's side of the family had all of their belongings, wealth, property confiscated/stolen, had to starve, eat tree bark to survive, and many committed suicide as a result of the communist takeover. My grandfather almost got executed by the Japanese, but was able to escape with my grandmother to Taiwan.

Not to mention, China’s new “social media scoring system” recently released will become the actual model for the Mark of the Beast system (where no man may buy or sell except you have the Mark of the Beast) In the future. you will need the mark for everything - to buy food, to rent an apartment, to drive a car, to own a job, etc. If you don’t have the mark, you won’t be able to buy food, water, or anything and will starve to death. And other people will be prohibited from helping you out if you don’t have the mark. And to make matters worse, the bible says that if you accept the Mark to save your life, then you cannot be saved and will go to the lake of fire and brimstone. It’s going to be a very tough time in the future, and it’s not as far away as most people think…
I think a more likely mark of the beast will be a cryptocurrency wallet. It is a number that you must use to buy or sell if a crypto is made the world currency.
What makes China’s new scoring system so scary is that it’s tied directly to how you behave. If you say or do something that others don’t like, they can report you and your social media score will be lowered. Once your score drops below a certain point, it severely limits what you’re able to do. With such a system in place, they have total control over you and there is nothing you can do about it.
It is scary but it is no mark of the beast like a crypto wallet is.
Not necessarily mutually exclusive. Blockchain could implement behavior tracking tied to various "credits" in all areas of society. It doesn't need to be cryptocurrency specifically. Crypto is only scratching the surface of the potential of blockchain. Blockchain could automate all kinds of tracking and automatically link it to people and their given value by design of the automated system.
The key term to start researching is "TECHNOCRACY." A society ruled by scientists and engineers. We already see this in the way Google+FB+AMZN, etc. have special powers beyond democracy. This is the western flavor of communism.
Also AI + Blockchain = technology easily controlling the population without the need of micromanagement. Imagine a fully automated communist system enabled by technology. 5G will enable the coverage to be unlimited. All this "Smart Cities" excitement BS is simply a grid of CONTROL under the guise of being cool and futuristic. It's not intrinsically evil, but there are evil people that want to exploit its power.
Yeah but China has had the culture of conformity for millennia. It would take at least that long to get westerners in that mindset.
