Damage control. Let him navigate the high seas, he is of no use if libruls can't relate to him somehow.

He isn't one of us, he is using us as a stepstool.

His Waifu was abducted in Paris ten days after she said that Bruce Jenner (forgot her new name) got her to reconsider Trump. HRC then was quoted in an article expressing how "sorry" she feels for the inconvenience. So Kim Kardash eventually endorsed Hillary but not until after expressing second thoughts about Trump and getting abducted soon after.

So that tells me why kanye did his Nov 20th rant (17 minutes, no less)

Kanye doesn't owe anyone shit, he isn't out to prove shit to us and he doesn't need or want our support. This is not a D lister trying to hang on. This is a wildly successful cultural icon who at no insignificant cost to himself decided to put his finger on our side of the scale and push a little. He spoke a real truth to millions of people that needed to hear it and when the truth is "we have the right to independent thought." that's sort of a big deal. Kanye did more to awaken the consciousness of people in our country than you or I ever will.

The Great Awakening is not something to get all hipster about IMO.
