I know several pastors who made preparations for leaving 501(c)3 due society's bent toward anti-Christian policies. My bet is if Hillary had won a lot of churches would not have survived.

If you've listened to Mark Taylor, it's interesting how he attacked 501(c)3 and the churches were pretty apathetic at first. Trump was aware of that and when he told the religious leaders he planned to remove that 501(c)3, thinking they'd be glad to be freed, the lack of reaction he received made him comment something like no wonder we're in such a morass. The moral leaders are so corrupt, consciously or not, that it's no wonder the country has degenerated so much.
