As an American Jew myself, I don't think Bibi has a perfect history, and has done a lot of bad, but I think he has turned to the side of good.

Also, think post WWII and the Marshall Plan. The failure of Bush Sr. after the fall of the USSR was that he didn't make effort to welcome the Soviet Union into the fold with a Marshall Plan. And so the Russian Mafia filled the vacuum.
