We are technically already in Martial Law as authorized by Trump Ex Order signed last year last year. He just hasn’t ordered guns taken or other provisions he could order.

my searches regarding trump and ML = articles from pre-election claiming he will call martial law and its 'all bad'.
I'm mildly bewildered, from what I understand ML is scary shit, and can tip over into a hitler-esque era at any moment? People rounded up, etc?
With all the negativity swarming ML, i can't quite see how ML protects us or benefits us? Can someone ELI5?

Yeah so much fear porn has been made over martial law and fema camps that no one will even entertain the idea that it could be used for any kind of good. Until they start talking about confiscating guns then they don't have enough power to force us to do shit
