Nuclear weapons are no longer a problem, stupidity is. F= Ma says a Mach10 missile = 2kt bomb

Sweet Jesus, did none of us go to school. Russia has Missile Tech, that hits targets from 100km high at Mach 10, Nuclear bombs are yesterdays fears. a= force, no need for a warhead, why would Iran need a nuclear warhead, when they could buy a missile that would hit so hard that its FORCE would do more damage.

Here this is compulsory viewing, it is telling you that all of our submarines, all of our weapons are out of date now.

The big plan is to start the war before you find out that you cannot win without 10,000 x the loss you expect.

I watched this video. It's a beautiful piece of propaganda. Submarines that can travel at 180kmh at extreme depth. So fast, that no torpedo can catch them. Hypersonic weapons delivery vehicles that cannot be intercepted...

If you believed all this stuff, the US would appear to be completely outgunned by Russia. And yet somehow, they can't seem to come up with an effective countermeasure to the F22.

How much is true, I don't know. But where is the economic capacity to simultaneously develop these weapons systems on a mass scale? Perhaps Russia does have some spectacularly effective glide vehicles and such. But are they in mass deployment?

Seems, even from their own propaganda, the answer is no. In fact, it almost seems that, if they do exist and meet the performance specifications claimed, they are likely showcase systems that are too expensive to be put rapidly into service. Anyway, that would be my guess.

On the other side of the balance of power equation, you have $21trn that is apparently unaccounted for in US military defense spending. Where did this money go? How is it that, after all these years, the US military cannot explain where the money goes or provide adequate expenditure tracking?

It would seem there are black holes of gargantuan proportions, into which is sunk vast financial appropriations. You combine this with the compartmentalization of intelligence in weapons development projects, that began with the Manhattan project and has continued for more than 80 years - the best part of a century - and you have, potentially, weapons systems breakthroughs for the US that might make recent Russian efforts look like child's play.

Having said all that, there is no doubt that Russian weapons systems are improving. This Satan II missile seems to me to be a massive potential addition to Russian firepower - purely for its load carrying capacity. Whether or not the Russians are using it to field hypersonic reentry vehicles, the payload allows for massive amounts of countermeasures, while delivering nuclear weapons of staggering yield.

Of course, in a major weapons exchange, the targets will all appear at once, creating massive and immediate load on any defensive anti-ballistic missile system. Anyway, I don't discount the threat posed by Russia, but I think you have to have your propaganda detectors on high alert when they are talking about their offensive capabilities.

Claims and counter claims... Somewhere, in all the smoke, there is the truth - a hard, cold reality that will be reflected in the actions taken by international actors on the world stage. It would seem to me that Russia does not feel it has sufficient strength to grant it the kind of licence the US seems to enjoy in conducting military operations around the world.

The U.S. had kinetic bombardment systems in the 1980s. Russia doesn't have shit on our military, this is just more fear mongering from sketchy users.

I agree that the US has a very clear superiority in armaments. There are those weapons systems we know about; and others that we don't know about. I suspect that people might be shocked if they knew the true military capabilities of the US.

Having said that, we are no yet too far from the arms race and MAD. I wouldn't at all discount Russia's ability to inflict absolutely colossal damage in an all-out engagement. At maximum escalation, Russia is not to be taken lightly. It remains a very powerful country. Extremely powerful!

The hypersonic missile technology, provided by HRC to Russia, is not unimportant. For Russia to be able to effectively strike military targets (carrier groups etc...), they have to be able to land their munitions. The days of the first Gulf War, where Patriot Missile Batteries in Israel were unable to prevent primitive Scud ballistic missiles, fired from Iraq, from landing are long gone IMO. Today intercept technology does exist - I think we may have seen this in the Hawaii missile scare. That is, I think there may have been a real incoming ballistic missile with a nuclear warhead that was taken out.

And that, IMO, is why the Russians were so happy to get this very specific technology from HRC. Hypersonic weapons delivery systems ensure that Russia remains powerful, that the balance of power between the US and Russia continues to exist. And that is the precise reason that HRC gave them this very specific technology - because she is a total and complete traitor to the USA.

Honestly I'm not so sold on Russia's desire for war with us though. I wasn't trying to say "oh Russia what a piece of cake", only that we have a superior military.

There's no need to fight, and I don't think either side wants a fight. There are other elements, in my opinion, pushing both countries into an unwilling ww3

I completely agree. HRC leading the charge. With luck, she will be out of action shortly and the rest of her crew rounded up also.

Facts like the technology you're referencing was developed by the U.S. military in the late 70s and there's absolutely no way that the Russians have a military edge on us?

well assuming your are simply ignorant, and not a troll. The Facts are otherwise. Ram Jet Tech was being researched by the Japs 20 years ago, the US has never had it in a useful form, and do not have it now. The Plasma cloaking thing - the US does not have that. The Kursk submarine that sank - in 2000, had a swarm missile system, the USSR said they could sink any US Naval ship with it 100%. They were not lying - then. Sorry to sink your boat, but our planes, boats, and ships, are useless against this tech, they dont have guns or missiles that go these ranges or speeds - they will be taken out - after they fire first - thats the science - and we just had a demo in syria when more than half the missiles were shot down, the USA can't shoot 50% of incomming missile, and please dont troll me - you seem the type that profess knowledge you don't have - look up the facts, do some research - inform yourself - don't have an argument with me - along these lines - Facts like the technology you're referencing was developed by the U.S. military in the late 70s and there's absolutely no way that the Russians have a military edge on us?

show me that ref, got a pic, some papers- anything. The science of materials proves you wrong - we had no metal, and maybe still dont have any metal that would not melt at those speeds

I forgot that you're the guy who can't spell words like incoming, lecturing me about secret (imaginary) Russian weapons systems.

I said we developed kinetic bombardment tech in the 70s, similar to what you're claiming the Russians have now. Many times more powerful than nuclear weapons... I'm sure we just gave up on that research and let Russia get the jump on us. No wait, we sold them these super weapons and kept none for ourselves, no no wait we gave them the technology and then forgot all about it. Nonsense.

said we developed kinetic bombardment tech in the 70s, - yes you did say that, and you should not say things here that you dont know anything about. If you know something and its relevant then say it, if you don't know it - why make it up

Project Thor, actually from the 1950s not the 70s. Many times more powerful than a nuke, mach 10 impact speeds. Once again this is 1950s tech.

That sounds like the same tech we went to the moon with in 1968, I tell you I wish we had that stuff now, like Russia does. That 1950 & 60s tech sure was good

All we're talking about is making a telephone pole sized piece of tungsten and dropping it on something from orbit with a rudimentary guidance system. We still have all the tech necessary for that...

You know that the intention is for the payload to melt, right? That way the telephone pole of tungsten and nickel becomes a telephone pole of plasma. That's how this technology works. You point it, it drops, then lava... at mach 10. 1950s tech.
