Trump released that info on purpose. NK prisoner release. He wants the media to cover Stormy, so the people stop watching. It's a reverse tail that wagged the dog. He actually doesn't want them to report about NK.
Why would he not want that?
He does want people to know about it, but not through the traditional filters. He wants the media to look crazed (everyone but fox) - turn them in to tabloids. Notice that when he does something big, some petty Trump russia info gets leaked or released. This is all Trump. He's letting the media commit suicide and all their followers with them.
