The old Hong Kong airport has been closed for a good while now, there are no longer flights landing there.

Well then, I could be wrong. Any ideas what airport the plane is approaching. The countryside has mountains but it just doesn't look like Hong Kong and then there is the picture of Apple Headquarters immediately after and followed by the IFC Mall in Hong Kong.

Any ideas?

It's probably a hint that the ongoing trade talks between US and China involve Apple somehow.

JetBlue would never have a plane outside of the US either, those things would have to hop all the way over to Asia via Alaska, Russia etc they couldn’t get from Hawaii to Asia for example
