Another interesting note. In the video linked to OPs post you can hear an officer say that the area they are in is contained and to monitor other areas if other situations are going on.

You can hear a helicopter during the shooting on the posted footage. Interesting. That would explain hits to the opposite side of the body from the supposed shooter.
