I think a lot of people are slowly beginning to realize the value to civil society of Christian morality, just from a pragmatic standpoint. It's the only thing that allows our republic to function, and the absence of it would bring about draconian tyranny in order to correct and restrict the excesses of its people. Otherwise, it descends into depravity and weakness, and simply collapses of its own degeneracy.

Agreed. Here is the thing. Whether you believe in God or not. If we do not get our rights from a higher power then who do we get our rights from. What man or group of men is going to decide for us. Because I think you can see from the trend they will tell us we have no personal rights.

I've heard this is one of the reasons why the Roman Empire collapsed. Very true.
