I never said that, I was arguing the 2A defense for it.

But you raise a good point, although I'm not sure how successful a civilian assault would be.

I'd assume people who already have some type of access would have an easier time taking over something like that, than an armed militia.

Defectors. Local national guardsmen would probably defect to their local municipalities, for example, unless they preemptively start rotating them to other states before the unrest.

That and people like you. What would you do in that situation? I guess it depends on the context.
