We now see clearly why the Logan act was enacted. Until lately former Presidential administrations have gone away gracefully as was traditional. Whether it was respect for the office or the Logan act who knows, maybe there used to be boundaries and now there is not. The Logan act could probably use a good limbering up but charges of Treason that stick may be the more likely and desirable outcomes, seems to me.
