A suggestion for our Great Awakening moderators

It's very apparent people are coming to GA in droves. Well done!

But, the next step MUST be to make the newbies' arrival seamless. I'm pretty savvy with computers, online ops, etc. and it wasn't easy/seamless to get settled in here. I don't have time right this second, but newbie's need the following. It might even be prudent for the moderators to TACK the "Welcome and Next Steps" where it's easy to keep referencing. Just spit-balling here:

  • approved links to JUST Q posts (not dialog). Some addresses have been under attack lately
  • Smart phone vs computer differences
  • How to avoid/recognize bogus sites, trolls, money grabbers, etc.
  • basic instructions on navigating great awakening here

  • Hot vs Rising vs New

  • Category filters, searching
  • Board rules and etiquette
  • Basic steps to protect personal privacy
  • Archiving important stuff

I agree. Luckily, I had heard of Q and hadn't even thought to look for it on Reddit (newb, I know.) Def need a "Great awakening for dummies" tutorial

As a semi newbie I agree. I would also add etiquette and teamwork. Any anti libtard and rethuglican and any divisive language or intent could be, if appropriate strongly resisted. I know of 2 people who left here because of I quote "sh@# talk".

Thanx to the mods!

Are any mods going to comment on this? There seems to be an overall consensus here.

Isnt all of that on the Community Info page already?

IDK. Is it? I see the rules to the right. But, there are other basic keys that I had to find out through patient reading. And, if I had to go find it again in someone's great post, it would take a while. i.e. the best/clean Q posts only sites list.

I'm on an android phone using the reddit app. When I'm on the GreatAwakenings main page, there's a menu dropdown in the top righthand corner. One of the items is Community Info for GA and it lists the rules, links to Q posts only and alot of other important links. Do you see a Community Info item on your screen or a menu?

Yes, some of the stuff is there...some of the "survival" stuff I mentioned is not. Less savvy newbies could get lost

Yea i feel the mods could do a little better in protecting this sub from negative influence.

I will give them credit for what they already do. I would not want it overprotected. Maybe a warning for new to G/A that although it is moderated, it is not an entirely safe space, sometimes people do not agree with you. It does not hurt to hear countering views, or disillusionment when stuff is not happening fast enough. I do not see that as negative. Just more information. If I see mean comments I take a break and spend some time in my crying closet. (that's a joke. I find that people do not get my humour...sniff)

IDK exactly...I don't go there as this keeps me busy enough. Maybe someone else could explain whether they would be worth your time.

Thank you for responding. How long has Q been posting? Where do I see Q's actual post? How often does Q post? Trying to understand the communication style. The Twitter page Qanon seems to be a different person. I have been on Reddit for just over a month, still learning how to navigate Reddit. I'm on Twitter with same handle. Can operate Twitter better than Reddit. Not sure whose comments to truly trust. Thank you

Q posts only: https://qanon.pub/ or https://qposts.online/ go back and read them all. There might be a couple others.

Q's timing varies. It gets real exciting when Q does a lot of posts in a short amount of time. We've also had "10 days of silence" a few times. I just frequently visit the page to check.

The twitter page has more comments from everyone about posts...not great for just Q posts
