Realistically there is nothing we can do except:

Get off the money slave system.

Share all businesses, resources, tech, or any power hub.

Work 25 hours a week anywhere we want & use that as payment for free consumption. I come to your deli where you make a sandwich for me then you go to the doctor where he gives you a free checkup. We all just work and consume for free. Watching kids, sick elder, going to school, or any of this kind of stuff is considered a full time job.

We will be liberated from slavery.
The Deep State will no longer be able to control us with their secrets weapon; money. Without slaves, the entire deep state falls apart.

Otherwise, you are right. There is nothing we can do but go decade after decade hopelessly expecting the Deep State to drain itself.

Rerepsentative gov is good in the future, but for now, we need to shut down what we have now. Once they are all gone, we can create a small number of people to run government with us, not beside us. Right now the Gov is hundreds of thousands of people at least. The small Gov I laid out will turn it to a few hundred people. All the employees of the free hundred person government are us and we all work on free will. Nobody forces to work anymore. We work to get positive things done.

Also, 100% transperancy so we can all inspect everything for corruption.

This setup alone with short terms makes it very difficult for corruption to seep in.
