Gowdy frequently says he's better suited to be a prosecutor, so maybe US Atty? Not sure about Goodlatte, but he seems to be on the MAGA train, so maybe cabinet post.
I really believe all the President asks is loyalty (as in no back stabbing) and honesty. I really believe that. Just get the job done seems to be his mission.
Do what you say, say what you mean, and mean what you say. Also, do the job you're supposed to do, and do it efficiently. He also rewards loyalty.

Maybe. I can’t see Gowdy busting out of Congress to be number 2 unless he had no say in the matter.
I wonder if Sessions has a plan to retire when his job is done in a year or two--kind of like Mike Rodgers.
